I am a lifetime resident of the Hudson Valley and a full time Licensed Real Estate Associate Broker and an Accredited Buyer Representative.
Prior to my real estate career I worked for many years in human services from International Flight Attendant to Clinical Social Worker. It's been a pleasure to transfer the professional skills and interpersonal skills I’ve developed over the years into the exciting world of real estate. I’ve been very successful whether it’s about understanding a buyer’s needs, pricing a seller’s home correctly or managing the negotiation process. And I do love the thrill of the hunt for that special place to call home. I am often as excited when I find it as my clients are. I like to say that my entire career history has been about getting people home in some form or another. I find that the relationships I build continue beyond the sale because of the trust and friendship that develops in the process.
In my first year of real estate I was honored with the designation, “Rookie of the Year”. In my second year I was already a multi-million dollar producer. In my third year I became an Associate Broker.. People find that I do naturally what is required of a real estate professional. I listen to and care about your dream and I have the enthusiasm and skills to make that dream a reality. I understand the meaning of a work ethic and apply it to all of my business. I am knowledgeable, organized, and ethical. I do my homework so the transaction moves smoothly. You can count on me to make the process of buying or selling your home a pleasant and professional one. I invite you to read testimonials of past client experience with me by visiting my personal website at www.realtordubois.com.I would also like to share that I am bilingual. I speak Portuguese because I was born in Brazil and have also lived and visited there for periods of time. I was raised bi-culturally and enjoy the opportunity to speak Portuguese. Being a natural linguist I love the opportunity to communicate with foreign speakers of all languages and have a personal understanding of the cross/cultural experience.
I have lived in the Hudson Valley with my family for over 25 years. We love it here and frequently remind ourselves that we should stay home for vacation because we have it all here. I enjoy practicing yoga, kayaking, ethnic dancing, visiting Manhattan and taking walks with my Welsch Terrier. I look forward to working with you!
